JOSEPH ZENI Jr., PT PhD
Dr. Zeni has been a licensed physical therapist since 2003. In his clinical work, he treated pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients with complicated knee disorders. His PhD training focused on the biomechanical causes of knee osteoarthritis progression. In his role as professor within the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program, he continues this line of research. His current studies seek to find ways to integrate biomechanical assessments and biomechanical feedback into clinical rehabilitation programs. He is currently a co-investigator on a large clinical trial examining the effect of biomechanical training on outcomes for patients after joint replacement.
Dr. Zeni has authored over 50 peer-reviewed articles pertaining to lower extremity biomechanics, gait, osteoarthritis, joint replacement, and ACL reconstruction. He has lectured extensively on the regional and national stage and has emerged as a leader in the field of clinical biomechanics. His research has been recognized by national awards from the American Physical Therapy Association, Academy of Orthopaedic Physical Therapy, and the Biomechanics Special Interest Group in the APTA.
PHILIPPE LANDRY
Since 2012, Philippe has been involved in the analysis, treatment and clinical integration of functional biomechanical data of the knee to better target the issues and personalize the management of recreational/elite athletes or osteoarthritis patients suffering from knee pain. Throughout this time Philippe has solidified his experience as leading expert in knee function. Philippe began his career in the field of sports medicine and thereafter focused on the treatment and management of chronic pain before embarking on his mission to become a leader in knee function and biomechanics.
He has co-authored publications, including Real World Clinical Result from a Multimodal Management Program for Osteoarthritis andKnee Pain-Running Injury. Philippe continues to oversee the training and clinical education of physicians and physiotherapists regarding the importance of biomechanics in knee pathology as well as lecturing at various key healthcare conferences/centers such as the National Ski Team and Olympic Ski Team at the National Sport Institute, the Quebec Soccer Federation and at the Research Center of the University of Montreal Hospital. Finally, he was also an Accredited Trainer for the Quebec Federation of General practitioners for 3 years and is still one for the Quebec Order of Physiotherapists; he is highly respected by the healthcare professional community.

LUIS ZUNIGA, PT, DPT, CHT, MT
He graduated from UT Health Science Center – San Antonio in 1984, receiving the highest honors for clinical excellence. Luis obtained his first certification in manual therapy in 1991 from what is now the University of Saint Augustine and since then has taught, demonstrated, written and continued to expand his knowledge in this area. He received extensive training at the Michigan State College of Osteopathic Medicine in manual therapy and manipulation. He received his certification in Hand Therapy (CHT) in 1999 and since then has practiced and taught internationally in the field of manual therapy.
VALERIE G. WILSON
Valerie Wilson earned degrees from UCLA and The Ohio State University, extensively studying Kinesiology with an emphasis in applied biomechanics and exercise physiology. She worked several years in Division 1 Athletics at UCLA, University of Washington, and The Ohio State University and went on in private business to consult with athletic and active populations, implementing biomechanical assessment methods to address injury prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation. With improved accessibility to technological advancements she has spent the past decade studying about and working with optical motion capture systems to quantify and analyze human movement, and focusing on diagnostic specificity for maximal therapeutic and performance outcomes.
Prior to working with Emovi’s Knee Kinesiography with KneeKG she was on a project developing the acquisition of biomechanical data for American Football punters and kickers, volleyball hitters, and baseball pitchers, from high school to professional levels. Valerie has a vision for moving these more precise, biomechanical assessment protocols into clinically accessible spaces including medical clinics, physical therapy clinics, athletic training rooms, and on the playing field or court.
